Mike Tait is President and Club Designer of SMT Golf.  Mike started in the golf business in 1978 in the PGA Program, and the component business full time since 1987.  I was introduced to the world of Professional Long Drive, through my longtime friend Jody Baucom, President of AccuFLEX Golf Shafts., at the 2001 World Long Drive Finals in Mesquite Nevada.  His club designs have dominated the ReMax Long Drive Championships around the World.  Mike’s favorite saying is, Swing hard, you might hit something’.
